At FOB we believe children are a priority and we always aspire to have a strong, vibrant Children's Ministry! September Adkins is our Children's Director and she has a large support team who really love children. We go all out when it comes to children as we offer crafts, teaching, worship, small groups, and many great events each year. Please call September if you have any questions.
SUNDAY MORNINGS:
On Sundays, children are dismissed from services during the preaching of the Word to go to their classes where they learn more about God on their level of understanding.
Beginner’s Church (3 year olds): Our beginner’s class is tailored to our precious 3 year olds who are introduced to Jesus in a loving atmosphere with hands on Bible instruction. This class has Bible stories, praise & worship, play, and lots of hands on crafts.
Jr. Kids Church (4 & 5 year olds): Our Jr. Kid’s Church is held in their own Noah’s Ark classroom where the Bible comes alive. Hands-on Bible curriculum is taught along with praise & worship DVD's, fun rafts, & snacks! This class rotates from station to station keeping all learners engaged as they experience Jesus first hand
Kid’s Church (6-10 year olds): Kids Church is totally sold out to reaching elementary kids from every culture and background! We function as a family and God is our Heavenly Father. Christianity is a lifestyle and we equip children to live for Jesus. Our sermons are exciting and life applicable. Puppets model acceptable behavior in church, school, and at home. Our Bible memory verses are rewarded with Bible bucks and the kids have their very own Bible Book Store. Nickelodeon style games are played where kids learn their Bibles while having Fun. Our praise and worship ushers in the presence of the Lord and our kids experience His presence.
Word Warriors (11-13 year olds): This class is tailored to our pre-teens in a life applicable way. This study will equip Students to memorize Scripture and learn the truths of the Bible in a fun and applicable manner. They will be challenged to walk out what they are learning in their life, and to pray and seek God;beginning with their own heart. This is a great atmosphere toask Biblical questions and have discussions surrounding God's principals.
WEDNESDAY EVENINGS:
Lil K (3-5 year olds): Wednesdays 7-8:30 PM. We provide a fun and simple way to reach preschoolers with the transformational truth of God’s Word. Through creatively taught bible stories on DVD and active learning, preschoolers can begin to realize that church is fun and God’s love for them is real.
KidMo (6–12 year olds):7-8:30 PM. This ministry focuses more on transformation than information. It’s not just about biblical stories, but a biblical worldview. KidMo strives to teach God’s truth in ways that impact a child’s choices and actions. Kids must be needed, valued, and connected. By teaching them to develop a biblical worldview, we can ignite an awakening that will impact generations to come. KidMo is high energy fun!
