Programs of Study
There are three diploma programs of study: Diploma of Biblical Studies with Ministry Concentration Diploma of Biblical Studies with Bible Concentration Diploma of Missionary Studies
Although each program has a minimum time requirement, there is no maximum. The program can be taken over an extended period of time (if necessary). Current students must request a course overview from the academic dean for status of program completion. Graduation Requirements In order to graduate from any of the three programs that are offered, a student must fulfill the following conditions:
Have completed all the requirements of the chosen program of study Have maintained a minimum cumulative grade average of “C” (2.0) Have maintained the Sarasota Bible College Character Standard Have no financial obligations to Sarasota Bible College (No transcript will be given out until all financial obligations have been met) Diplomas and Certificates S.B.C. is not authorized by the State of Florida to grant degrees. It is not accredited by an accrediting body at this time. Completed classes may be transferable to other accredited colleges but it is up to the student to pursue all transfers. Students who complete the proper requirements will receive a diploma. Sarasota Bible College also offers certificates of completion for: Certificate of Completion - Youth Ministry Certificate of Completion - Children's Ministry Certificate of Completion - Teaching Ministry Certificate of Completion - Evangelism Ministry Certificate of Completion - Worship Ministry Certificate of Completion - Intercession Ministry These certificates will help the student/lay minister prepare for ministry. They are an excellent way to train and equip yourself for lay ministry positions within the local church. Although each certificate has a minimum time requirement, there is no maximum.
